Executive Golf is proud to support Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario. Every event that we conduct aims to contribute to the foundation through various means. Executive Golf operates the Slammer Tour, a local golf league for players of any skill level. Now with over 250 events per year, 50 cents is donated from every three-putt, from each Slammer, all season long. The Ottawa Sun Scramble, also operated by Executive Golf, has now grown to be the largest golf tournament in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Now a week long championship hosting 11 divisions at eight different golf courses, the Make-A-Wish 50/50 Closest to the Pin offers golfers a chance to take home some loot while contributing to the Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario. Other events sanctioned by Executive Golf which supports the foundation are the EG Opener, EG Club Championships, Promomedia Group Corporate Challenge, Commish’s Cup, Office Doctor Curling Bonspiel, Sens Night, Evolution Golf Nine and Dine, Indoor Leagues, Ladies league and the Slammies.

 

This partnership was founded in 2008 when a representative from the Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario became a regular participant on the Slammer Tour. We saw an opportunity together and since then are more than pleased with the Foundation and their mandate and operations. There is a great level of satisfaction when we are presented with the stories and wishes of the local children we support.
