What is the Adopt-A-Wish® Program?

Adopting a wish is much more than just sponsoring a child's wish. It is a true experience that everyone can enjoy and even play a part in if they choose!
The minimum donation required to support a wish is $8000 which covers the cash cost of granting a wish. Once you make the important decision to Sponsor a wish you will be matched with a child and provided a pre-wish story that includes their hobbies, medical condition, interests and, of course, a description of the child's wish.

Adopters are welcome to be involved in wish enhancements if they choose. Wish enhancements can be anything from a homemade card signed by the whole team to surprising the child with their favorite treat. These wish enhancements help to build the excitement of the child and create a magical touch to the wish not only for the child but the adopter as well!

Once the wish has been granted you will be provided with an update on the child’s wish experience. As well, wish adopters will be recognized for their contribution with a plaque of their adopted wish child for display.

The experience of adopting a wish can become an annual community support program to carry on the tradition of providing a magical wish experience for everyone involved!
